Disneyland

Disney Adventures

Went to Disneyland, which is still closed, but walked around the shops and had a good lunch at a Mexican restaurant there. Social distancing was in effect, and everyone was masked, even the grandkids.

There was a nice water feature by the restaurant, but Sophia wasn’t really cooperating, but still a nice picture. The kids liked the duck that was taking a bath in the fountain.

Disneyland Christmas parade and lights

We decided to go to Disneyland to see the Christmas lights. Janis had been so sick since Thanksgiving, but we had only 4 days to go see them, before we were into blackout dates. Jenn and Neil also had blackout dates so we had to go on Monday the 9th, Jenn and Neil and Neil’s family had just got back from a 5 day cruise on Thursday, so was going to be tough to go since they needed to catch up on missed work, but they did a half day and made it out.

We drove out at 10 a.m., and got there about 2:30 p.m. it was more crowded than we thought it would be.

Disneyland 2019

Went to Disneyland on Friday the 1st, that was so fun, Midori, Emi Kyle and Allie, Howard and Eryn, and of course Jenn, Neil, Ryan, and Derek. Sophia stayed with Irene (Nona) so that was nice for her and us!
