and Mooky Betts did something that hasn’t happened since Babe Ruth. A home run, 3 stolen bases in the same inning of a world series game.
Three times in 4 years, the Dodgers are in the World Series! They beat the Padres, and then the Braves, to get to the fall classic. Tampa Bay, who has never won a world series, is their opponent. Too bad it couldn’t be the Astros, so they could finally kick their cheating ass, but I’ll take it!

I was torn being that I'm a Red Sox fan from the days of Yastremski and then Freddie Lynn and Jim Rice and Pudge Fisk, but living in Colorado and watching them sweep everybody getting here to the world series
I wish the Rockies would have at least won a game though, I'm stuck in Los Angeles and would have liked to have been @ the game tomorrow night to watch it unfold.
Rocktober was kind of fun though, the city got really into it.
Went to Dodger/Giant game tonite - Dodgers won 1-0 in the 10th against the Giants - Russell Martin hit a home run in the top of the 10th inning.
Greg Maddox pitched a masterful 8 innings, Rafael Furcal got a base hit bunt, and after the home run the Dodgers mobbed Martin at home plate.

Dodger opening day - Stealth Bomber, New seats, new color scheme, good seats, same ole Dodgers! They lost 11-10 but I left when it was 10-5
