Over 4000 deaths of young Americans in the war

Two years ago my brother was dying of leukemia in Santa Barbara, and I spent a lot of time there.  I remember on the beach someone had created "Arlington West" which was an amazing testiment to the number of American soldiers lost in the war. That was 2,474.   More than double that amount now   :(
