Babysitting Sophia

Jenn and Neil and the AHOD event planning crew had a wedding out here in Vegas, so we were able to watch Sophia from Thurs-Sat. She was such a cutie. Jason and TL are on their way to TL’s winter job site in Death Valley, so they came by last nite, along with Matt and Ellie. TL will be working there till April so we’ll have lots of time to spend with them as Death Valley is only a 2 hour drive.

Grandkids in Vegas!

Grandkids came out for a visit as Jenn came out to see Cher in concert. Sophia is 5 mo old in6 days.

It was a good visit, 3 whole days, which is a lot for them, since they are working so hard. They got barck home on Saturday night, and spent the day on Sunday with Bert and Selma at the beach. Monday was first day officially of the new year of school, even though they’ve been going to preschool all summer.

She’s only two days old here, but already has us wrapped around her finger!

We left LA yesterday and had to come home. Jennifer and Sophia were able to come home from the hospital yesterday, so they needed to get some quiet time (until Ryan and Derek came home from school.

Luckily we were there when they left the hospital, and I got a a picture of Sophia in her fist car seat ride!

After they went home, we were going to drive out to Temecula to see Aurora, Susan, and Phil. Prior to that we stopped to eat at Bear Pit Restaurant on Sepulveda Blvd. in Mission Hills. Knowing that Neil was starving, I asked if they wanted a lunch order and we’d drop it off on the way out of town, They jumped at that, and Janis jumped at the chance to see the baby sleeping in her new swing.
